Swan Song

A collaboration I had between animators from RIT's School of Film and Animation(Knihk Haefner, Nicholas Zweig) and glass blowers from RIT's School of American Crafts (Maddie Stewart,Tate Antolini Newfield,Jarryd Pezzillo) with help from Maddy Jason from RIT's School of Art Sculpture. In this project, we used sequential glass pieces to create stop motion animation. the movements made where inspired by or take reference from organic objects such as organs or animals like jellyfish The video was used in a full installation where we made a screen that we suspended over a glass assemblage of all of the glass used in the video.
